Universal Standard Section of Tower Crane

The tower crane standard section is an essential component of a tower crane. Its main limbs can be categorized into three types based on the material used: round steel, angle steel, and square steel. In terms of material, the standard sections are typically made from Q235 or Q345 steel to ensure sufficient strength and stability. During the manufacturing process, the components of the standard section are connected through welding, which significantly enhances the overall robustness. Additionally, the connection areas of the standard section undergo mechanical processing, such as drilling and milling, to ensure the precision and dimensions of the connection holes, allowing for secure connections via bolts or pins. Furthermore, to extend the service life and meet the specific needs of different customers, the standard sections are treated with paint, and the color can be customized according to customer requirements.

Universal Standard Section of Tower Crane

①Ladder : A vertical or inclined ladder fixed on the standard section of the tower crane for the operator to safely climb to the operation room at the top of the tower crane or perform maintenance work.



②Safety Cage : A safety facility installed around the ladder, the main function is to prevent the climbing personnel from accidentally falling when working on the tower crane.
